How to Remove Tophi On Elbow

Gouty tophi that grows on joint is the most annoying type of tophi lump. It is fine when the size is small, but as it increases its size to become a protrude structure, this tophi lump will affect the movement of that particular joint and eventually prevent the joint from moving at all! Among the "common joints" of tophi formation are on the fingers and elbow. 

Gouty tophi only happens on people who have been suffering from gout or hyperuricemia for a long period of time (more than 5 years), but tophi on elbow usually happen when high uric acid was left untreated for more than 10 years. That's why we only see tophi on elbow on older gout patients.
